Voilà tout un paradoxe : S.T.A.L.K.E.R. a été, contre toute attente, absent de cet E3 2005, mais il a été élu plus grande surprise de l'E3 par IGN. Cela est peut être dû à la vidéo que l'on a eue il y a quelques temps.

We like surprises... most of the time. However, being surprised at E3 can be a double edged sword. Take this year for example. All of the big surprises were ones that we would have rather not been surprised with. The one that's the most surprising of these is the fact that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl was absent from the show floor. We never received an answer about why this happened so it's hard to know what to think at this point. We've known about the game since 2002 and thought it was to be released in 2003. Since that time it's been delayed over and over. We can only hope that this was in order to give the development crew time to focus and finish the project because the premise of the game sounds like a bunch of fun.
